Victoire Tomegah Dogbé
Prime Minister of Togo (2020-Present)
Victoire Tomegah Dogbé has served as Prime Minister of Togo since 2020, and continues to hold this position. Tomegah Dogbé is the first woman to hold this office.
Prime Minister Tomegah Dogbé graduated with a Master's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Lomé and obtained two specialization in “General management option marketing and finance” from the Jutland Technology Institute – AARHÜS in Denmark, and in “Orchestrating Winning Performance” from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) – in Lausanne (Switzerland). She also has a Specialized Diploma in Intervention Areas from the Virtual University of Development of UNDP New York in association with Jones International University.
Tomegah Dogbé started her career at the Togolese Plastics Industry (ITP) as a Supply Manager and eventually became General Manager. She later held positions at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as Assistant Resident Representative in Operations in Togo and Congo Brazzaville and Deputy Resident Representative in Burkina Faso and Benin.
In 2008, while at the UNDP, she was appointed Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of development at the base that had just been created in Togo. In 2009, she was entrusted with the management of the Cabinet of the President of the Togolese Republic, a position which she holds to this day. In 2010, she became Minister of Grassroots Development, Youth Craft and Youth Employment.
